Inmate who escaped from jail back in custody

Police arrested 29-year-old Nekea Rose Thursday morning.   Rose escaped from the Estill County Jail Tuesday night.

An inmate police say escaped from the Estill County Jail is now back behind bars.

Police arrested 29-year-old Nekea Rose, of Beattyville, at a home on New Fox Road in the Hargett community of Estill County Thursday morning.

Police say they had to use a TASER on Rose, because they say he refused to comply with officers.

Rose is now charged with second degree escape and resisting arrest. He was in the Estill County Jail on a burglary charge when police say he escaped Tuesday night.

Rose has since been returned to the Estill County Jail.
