Murder Trial Expected To Begin In July

A man accused of killing a former Johnson County constable is expected to go to trial after undergoing psychiatric tests.

Friday morning, a judge scheduled Chris Fairchild's murder trial for July 7th.

Fairchild is charged with killing James Mollette last year at his home during an alleged robbery. Another man charged, Tommy Baldridge, accepted plea deal last week in exchange for his testimony against Fairchild.
