Floyd County firefighters battled a suspicious house fire at an abandoned building Friday morning.
It happened in Tram. Investigators say the building had no electricity or gas hooked up to it. Meanwhile, firefighters also battled the cold weather to put out the fire. It took them longer to get there.
"We had ice on the roads, trucks had to be extremely careful coming to the fire and when we did get here, we had to hike the hose up a hill on an ice covered road and it just makes it real treacherous," said Firefighter Nathan Looney.
No one was injured in the fire. Firefighters are still investigating the cause.
