On Friday, the fun really ramps up for UK fans coming to New Orleans for the Final Four.
They will be able to see the Cats practice, take in Bracket Town, and see KISS in a free concert.
However, many fans found plenty of fun things to do Thursday.
On Bourbon Street, you can find just about anyone, and anything.
This weekend, one thing you are sure to find is UK fans taking in the sights.
This is Jo and Denny Byrd's first trip to New Orleans.
Denny Byrd is the superintendent for Williamsburg Independent Schools, and he's playing hooky a little early before spring break next week.
"It's wonderful, we were sitting at home watching the NCAA last year... I said (to my wife), 'Let's put in an application for tickets,' and she did," Denny Byrd said. "Then they sent us an email saying you got it, and now for Kentucky to be in it is wonderful."
This is a special trip for Hannah Pietsch and her father. Pietsch surprised her father, Frank Farr of Stamping Ground, with tickets.
"This is a birthday present for me," Farr said. "I think this was the first time I was speechless."
Some 74,000 tickets have been sold at the Superdome for the Final Four.
According to Stub Hub, 37 percent of the tickets sold on its site were in Kentucky. The next closest was Ohio, with only four percent.
