Undercover Illegal Gambling Investigation Lands One Man In Jail

A Tennessee man is in jail after an undercover illegal gambling investigation in one Southern Kentucky county.

The Corbin Times Tribune reports two undercover officers played on illegal poker machines in a Pilot Travel Center in Williamsburg in Whitley County, leading police to obtain a search warrant. When they came back, police found a man loading three of the machines into a truck outside. They stopped the driver, Russell L. Elliot, and now he's charged with promoting gambling, possession of gambling records, possession of a gambling device and tampering with physical evidence.
