Woman attacked in Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Police hope a sketch and a reward help them catch the man who attacked a woman in a national park popular with Kentuckians.

Investigators say on Friday, a woman walking on a trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee was sexually assaulted and stabbed.

After the attack, she flagged down a driver in nearby Gatlinburg for help.

She was treated and released from a hospital.

On Monday, police released a sketch of the suspect, and park officials put up a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
