Police: Man dies after accidental fall

RUSSELL SPRINGS, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police say preliminary autopsy results indicate a man found dead in the Lake Cumberland region of southern Kentucky died after an accidental fall.

Russell County authorities notified Kentucky State Police that a body was found at about 11:35 a.m. Sunday at the bottom of Indian Cave Hill Road.

The man was identified as 32-year-old Waylon G. Atchley of Russell Springs.

Preliminary autopsy results indicate he died of multiple injuries sustained as a result of an accidental fall from a height of more than an estimated 70 feet.
