CORBIN, Ky. (WYMT) - One Eastern Kentucky rehabilitation center celebrated 20 years of service Wednesday!
The Baptist Physical Rehabilitation center in Corbin had a ceremony and reception to mark the occasion.
Several former patients came back and shared how the center helped them recover from serious injuries, illnesses, and strokes.
"So our patients come here for intensive therapy to get better to go home, so we work with the patients and we work with the families," said Dayla Saylor.
"Preachers say that Jesus came to heal the sick and comfort the brokenhearted, and I feel like this rehab facility healed the sick and helped David recover from his stroke, and they sure helped my broken heart," said Judy Unthank.
The center is located inside Baptist Regional Medical Center.
