2 miners trapped in western KY coal mine

CENTERTOWN, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky officials say two miners have
been trapped in a western Kentucky coal mine.

Officials with the state Public Protection Cabinet said Friday morning the men were trapped after an accident at Armstrong Coal's Big Run Mine near Centertown in Ohio County, but there was no information on the time of the accident.

The condition of the men and their identities was not
immediately available.
