2 walkaway inmates still at large from Kenton

TAYLOR MILL, Ky. (AP) - Two Kenton County jail inmates who
walked away from a work detail are being sought.

A county dispatcher said 19-year-old Tyler Lee Ryan of Park Hills and 24-year-old William Taylor Edwards of Latonia were still at large Thursday morning.

Ryan and Edwards were working in Pride Park in Taylor Mills on Wednesday afternoon when their supervisor noticed they were missing, according to The Kentucky Enquirer (http://bit.ly/qK2r0H

Kenton County Police saw them shortly afterward walking along a street and tried to stop them, but the men ran into some woods.

Ryan is serving two years for probation violation and Edwards has a six-year burglary sentence. Both are state inmates, who were being housed at the county jail.
