Officials from an Eastern Kentucky company are finishing a downsizing effort this week.
Officials from the company, Highland Diversified of London announced they were going to be downsizing by around 100 jobs by September 1st.
Officials say by the end of the week, the downsizing effort will be done, but they aren't sure how many jobs were phased out or laid off.
Officials say most people found other employment before their positions were gone because of the early notice. They also say the downsizing is a result of Midsouth Electronics in Jackson County downsizing because they had a contract with them.
