Man Accused Of Murder Could Soon Be Freed From Prison

A Laurel County man found guilty of manslaughter in the death of his wife could soon be out of jail.

Friday, a judge sentenced Freddie Wayne Scott to ten years in prison, but Scott will be immediately eligible for parole. Scott has spent over two years in jail since he was arrested in 2004.

He was originally charged with murder in the death of his wife, Lisa Ann Scott.
