Eastern Kentucky students are getting a history lesson on a day to remember a very important part of American history.
The students participated in a program celebrating Constitution Day Monday at the Hazard Community and Technical College. There were guest speakers and even a trivia game to see how much the students knew about the constitution.
"The more exposed they are in secondary schools to these topics, the better citizens they will be," said UK Professor Dr. Bradley Canon.
The Constitution of the United States was completed and signed by a majority of delegates attending the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia on this day in 1787.
