Two Men Are Arrested In Connection With Former Constable's Murder

State police make two arrests in the murder of a former Johnson County Constable.

Police say 21-year old Thomas Baldridge and Chris Fairchild, who is also in his 20s, were both arrested on Wednesday.

Police say both men are from Johnson County.

Officers were called to James Mollette's home Tuesday and found him dead in the living room.

Police say Mollette had been shot and his throat had been slashed.

Investigators say they think he was killed during a robbery.

State police say a tip to the Johnson County Sheriff's Department led them to the two men.

State police say Baldridge and Fairchild will be charged with murder.
