We have an update in a murder investigation....
Police say Ralph Hopper and Julie Maiden were found dead at a Cumberland Gap, Tennessee package store last week.
Today officials from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are saying 37-year-old William Ashby may have been at the scene of the crime.
TBI officials say Ashby is suspected of similar crimes throughout the southeast but was killed in a shootout with Florida police officers last night.
Officials ask anyone who may have information linking Ashby to this crime or can place him near Cumberland Gap, Tennessee you should contact the Claiborne County Sheriff's Department or the TBI.
