The 42nd Annual Swappin' Meetin' Festival in Cumberland is drawing a crowd from across Eastern Kentucky this weekend.
The Kingdom Come Swappin' Meetin' Festival brings people from around the region to Cumberland every year.
The festival began as an idea of a former music teacher and now more than a hundred different vendors set up at the Southeast Community College to entertain, feed, and sell crafts.
"The nature of our mission is we want to use more regional and local people, and it really works out well," said Micheal Corriston, Senior Coordinator of the festival.
The festival is the first weekend of October every year and Corriston says they are already planning next year's events.
