State police are investigating a home invasion in Jackson County.
Police say Danny Ray Johnson, Jason Marcum and a juvenile forced their way into 29-year old Larry Short's home off highway 421 in McKee.
Police say the men started beating Short and short started shooting.
Police say Johnson was hit and airlifted to the U.K. Medical Center.
No arrests have been made.
