Man Sentenced For Attempted Murder

A man learns his fate in court after pleading guilty to shooting his wife in the face at an Ashland hospital parking garage in January.

54 year old Terry Horsely of Vanceburge has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. Horsley pleaded guilty to attempted murder and three charges of wanton endangerment, but says he was mentally ill when he shot his wife, Cathy Horsley in an elevator at the King's Daughters Medical Center parking garage.

Horsley must serve at least 85% of the sentence before becoming eligible for parole.
