New information in the search for prison escapee who was serving time for trying to kill a police officer.
Lexington police received a tip Monday night Kenneth Cribb may be in Fayette County.
Corrections officials say Cribb walked away from his work detail in Frankfort on Friday.
He was serving time for firing a gun at a Williamsburg police officer four years ago.
Lexington police tell us they received an anonymous tip Cribb may be hiding out in an area around Rupp Arena.
Police sent extra patrols to search the area but did not find him.
