WYMT Severe Weather Alert

More storms are firing up off to our west and will be moving in our general direction. Most should be below the severe threshold, but some could bring some strong wind and hail. We will be monitoring the system throughout the night and will update you as needed.

Police Investigating Church Fire

State Police are investigating a small fire at an Eastern Kentucky church.

It happened Thursday afternoon at the Wooten Presbyterian Church. State Police say they were responding to a report of a fire and burglary at the church.

Police say there was no major structural damage.

The cause of the fire is not known.
