An Eastern Kentucky medical center is offering new services.
Pikeville Medical Center announced Thursday the addition of two new heart doctors as well as some new technology they say will help them serve Kentuckians.
"The new equipment gives us the ability to look at volume, when you look at volume you can measure what is called an ejection fraction," said Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Bill Harris.
Doctor Harris says the ejection fraction is an important piece of information when deciding on pacemakers and defibrillators.
After the announcement, Pikeville Medical Center offered free health screenings to the public.
