We are just over a week away from election day and you might not know yet who to vote for but some state officials say they just want you to vote, that's why some they say they're working to keep the elections fair.
When you step in the voting both on Election Day state officials want you to be more secure that there isn't voter fraud happening in your area.
Secretary of State Trey Grayson says you can help fight vote fraud in your area by calling his office or the Attorney General's office.
"We ask them to go out and be citizen police" says Grayson. "So to speak and help us in this effort and together we can make a difference."
Grayson says the May primaries served to help them decide what changes to make for the November elections.
Officials say some voters had issues in May with the new voting machines and the lack of curtains.
"There was some concern by voters that people could watch how they voted" says Gray son. "All it takes is you can turn that machine 90 degrees, have it face the other wall and then you can't see."
Attorney General Greg Stumbo says your county clerk can be helpful when it comes to the elections.

"You can vote your absentee vote there at the county clerk's office between now and election day, if you have to be away from the state during election day." Says Stumbo.
Stumbo and Grayson say if you don't know where you are suppose to vote, to ask your county clerk which precinct to go to.
Stumbo and Grayson say they hope that voter fraud issues in the past will help deter others from breaking the law and make November 7th a fair election.
Secretary of State Trey Grayson added that as long as you are in line by 6 pm on election day, you will be allowed to vote.
