Martin County Stabbing Suspects Released

The Martin County sheriff says two men involved in a stabbing Sunday night have been released and no charges have been filed.

Deputies say Chris Mills was stabbed at the Impala Hotel. Investigators say after watching surveillance video, the believe Anthony Cockrell stabbed Mills in self defense because Mills was threatening him with a hatchet. The sheriff says another man, Rush Fletcher, was questioned and released.

Officers say the case will be heard by a grand jury.
