Some voters had an unexpected change in voting in Leslie County Tuesday morning.
Voters had to cast their ballots in the dark for about one hour in three precincts after a power outage in the Stinnett area.
Some voters say nothing was going to stop them from taking part in the Democratic process.
"Couldn't see to cast my vote over there, had to use a mini-flashlight," said Teresa Wilder.
Kentucky Power officials say 15 hundred customers were effected by the outage and county clerk officials say no voters were turned away to cast their ballots.
