WEST LIBERTY - Two more individuals wanted in a drug round-up by Operation UNITE have been arrested.
Newly charged are:
* Jaala Hutchinson, age 18, of Hickory Road, West Liberty, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
* Kristina Vargo, age 18, of Hickory Road, West Liberty, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
As of 3:30 p.m. Thursday, November 9, a total of 18 of the 24 suspected drug dealers were in custody.
The round-up, conducted Wednesday morning, followed a seven-month investigation in to street-level drug dealing in Morgan County.
OxyContin, Morphine and Percocet were the most commonly purchased drugs, UNITE officials stated, adding police also found some cocaine and Lorcet.
Detectives from UNITE were joined in the round-up by law enforcement officers from the West Liberty Police Department, Morgan County Sheriff's Office, U.S. Forest Service and Kentucky State Police.
