Two Men Dead Following Pike County Shootings

It has been a crazy day for Kentucky State Police in Pikeville as an investigation into one Pike County shooting turned into two.

State Police say they received a call around 10:30 Sunday morning of an altercation and shooting on Road Creek near Elkhorn City. Investigators say they found 27 year old Jordan Justice shot to death in his home.

"While investigating the first shooting, we received a call that Gary King had been shot at his residence also on Road Creek approximately three tenths of a mile from the first shooting," said Trooper Scott Hopkins with the Kentucky State Police.

State Police have confirmed the first shooting as a murder, but they say they don't know if the two shootings are connected. They say they are still investigating and the two bodies will be sent for autopsies Monday morning.
