Fire Breaks Out On University Of Tennessee Campus

A fire on the University of Tennessee's campus is now under control.

Fire crews have a fire in the Dougherty Engineering Building now under control. The fire started around just before three Friday afternoon.

Officials from the Knoxville Fire Department say people were being evacuated from the building out of windows.

University officials say everyone was safely evacuated from the building.

Officials say they don't know how the fire started but have found where it started. The building is next door to the U.T. football stadium, but it doesn't look like it will be affected.
