More than eight hundred children will have a Merry Christmas thanks to volunteers with the Perry County Community Ministries.
Volunteers with the Christmas Friends Program wrapped presents that will be distributed to families throughout the county. Many people in area schools, churches and businesses sponsor families each year.
"It's a wonderful way for people in the community who have what they need to share that with those who may not have what they need," said Gerry Roll, Executive Director Community Ministries.
"I hope all the kids like their presents and have a Merry Christmas," said Volunteer Madison Mobelini.
Volunteers with Christmas Friends have been making the holidays extra special for children for more than 25 years.
