Man Killed In Coal Truck Accident In Leslie County

A coal truck driver is killed after his cab overturns in Leslie County Saturday afternoon.

Police say the driver was killed when his truck flipped over an embankment at U.S. 421 and Ulysses Creek Road in Leslie County.

Police have not released the driver's name or the cause of the accident.

Officials with Jackson Energy were also on the scene. They say the truck took down some power lines, and they warn that customers between Bear Branch and Ulysses Creek could be without power until at least 8 or 9 o'clock Saturday night.
