Company Expands, Adds Jobs

There's good news for a Harlan county company... a new expansion and new jobs.
Carroll Engineering started nearly thirty years ago in Harlan county. Today they have seven locations throughout the United States servicing and selling equipment to coal mine operators. Now the corporation is opening a human resources department for the entire corporation right here in Eastern Kentucky.

"Integrity, honesty, hard work and team work, are the concepts that have brought us where we are today God's blessing on the company has been important." says Caroll Engineering President Jerry L. Hall.

"The work that they're doing is of a caliber that is so incredible that this business is being successful on a national level because of that." says State Representative Brandon Smith.

Company officials say they are already taking applications for the human resource department and plan to break ground for another location in the near future.
