A man accused of killing a former Johnson County constable pleaded not guilty in court Friday.
Tommy Baldridge is charged with murdering James Mollette in September. He also faces robbery and evidence tampering charges.
Another man, Chris Fairchild, is also charged in the case.
Police say Baldridge told them Fairchild shot Mollette and threatened to kill him if he didn't cut Mollette's throat.
The judge said this is a death penalty eligible case but the Commonwealth's Attorney hasn't made a decision about seeking it.
