Heavy rain is possible through Friday as a strong storm system moves through the mountains. Flash Flooding is likely during this time. Remember if you come across a flooded roadway to turn around and don't drown. Keep it with WYMT for the latest.
We're just one week away from Christmas, and many of you might be feeling the panic, because you still have some shopping left.
But don't worry.
Many sales associates and shoppers say the perfect gift may be hard to find, but the sales aren't.
The cash flow isn't slowing down, with just eight shopping days left before Christmas.
"It's been very busy, very hectic," said Jociette Fields, a sales associate at My Favorite Things.
Fields said she's helped many shoppers at the boutique store, who say they're just now starting their holiday spending. "If they're like me, they don't have time to shop. I haven't even started!"
Many procrastinators are trying to catch last minute deals.
Sales associates from several stores say the closer Christmas gets the better the "bargains" get.
"This is a good sale here, yeah," said shopper Angie Baker.
Baker says the last minute rush is nothing new to her, it's become a frantic pattern every year.
With that in mind, many say they expect parking lots and check-out lines to be packed throughout the week.
