Today was the 7th annual Kids Helping Kids Christmas party in Paintsville.
Every Year, Paintsville High School Students volunteer for the event.
Students say they invited families with special needs children from 5 counties.
Today's event is all one man's dream after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.
Gene Blackburn is the Kids Helping Kids creator.
"I felt like after a period of time that I owed something back to the kids, so parents don't have to worry about it," Blackburn said.

Katie Stricklin organizes the event every year and she said, "They are truly giving these people what the real meaning of Christmas is about."

Santa Stopped by to visit with the kids, and the students have been collecting and wrapping gifts for the children all month.
Even before the 2006 Kids helping kids party is over the High School students are already planning the celebration for next year.
