Woman Charged With Manslaughter Sentenced Friday

A woman charged with stabbing her boyfriend to death in Harlan County faces years behind bars.

A judge sentenced Kimberly Owens to ten years in prison Friday for a charge of second degree manslaughter in the death of James McMillan in September 2004. Owens has claimed she killed McMillan in self defense.
