Severe weather looks likely later this afternoon. The best chances appear to be between 3 p.m. and Midnight. Damaging winds, large hail, heavy rain, and an isolated tornado or two are possible. The area at the greatest risk for severe weather in eastern Kentucky is in the Cumberland Valley, near the I-75 corridor. Keep it locked here for updates.
Some repair work on a railroad crossing may delay traffic in one eastern Kentucky community.
Officials with CSX say the work will be done on old US 119 near Johns Creek in Pike County.
They say the work will take place between 9 am and 1 pm Tuesday and the road will be closed during that time
