An Eastern Kentucky community is fed up because residents say stray dogs are everywhere.
A crossing guard outside one elementary school in Evarts says the problem is so bad, children can't get in and out of school without the dogs attacking them.
"As they get out of the cars to go into school, they're terrified of these dogs. They nip at their heels," said Barbara Parker.
The Evarts City Council is discussing plans to catch the dogs with cages and then take them to the county animal shelter to be euthanized.
