An outside group of engineers says Lake Cumberland should be lowered even further than what the Army Corps of Engineers is planning.
That's according to a report in the Louisville Courier-Journal.
The group backs lowering the lake another 30 to 70 feet to take pressure off Wolf Creek Dam.
But Corps officials say a 10 foot drop is enough.
They say lowering the lake even more would affect hydroelectric power and harm fish.
