Farmer Faces Opposition In Ag Race

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Former University of Kentucky basketball
player Richie Farmer will have opposition in his bid for
re-election as agriculture commissioner.
Don Stosberg of Frankfort has filed to run against Farmer for
the Republican nomination.
Stosberg is challenging a Kentucky sports icon in the May 22nd
primary. Farmer played on the 1992 University of Kentucky team
known as the "Unforgettables."
Pleasureville farmer David Neville will face perennial candidate
David Lynn Williams for the Democratic nomination. Williams is a
retired cable contractor from Glasgow whose previous campaigns
include an unsuccessful bid for governor.
