Former Manchester Mayor Daugh White was ordered to be released from jail Friday morning only to have the decision placed on hold by a higher judge Friday afternoon.
A magistrate judge ordered White to be placed on home incarceration with strict guidelines. However, Assistant U.S. Attorney Steve Smith filed a motion to have the order revoked. White's attorney, Kevin West says District Judge Danny Reeves took the order under advisement and will make a final ruling next week. Until then, White will remain in the custody of U.S. Marshals.
White is facing federal drug charges.
