Some Pike county high school students are finding out what it is like to work in the coal mines while they're still in school. The "Success X-press" truck is at the Belfry vocational and technical school for two weeks. It simulates what it's like to work in a coal mine through a computer virtual reality system. Students can prepare for future jobs in coal while they're still in school.
Students can train for jobs like mine electricians, equipment operators, and foreman.
