PETA Wants Harsh Punishment For Teens

PETA, or the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, wants two eastern Kentucky teenagers prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

The animal rights group sent a letter to the Pike County Attorney asking him to vigorously prosecute a 17 and 18 year old arrested for allegedly shooting horses for fun.

Several of the horses died and one was shot more than 30 times.

Police say the boy's have admitted to the crime but court officials won't release information because of the teen's ages.
