Repairs to a Southern Kentucky dam may not take as long as expected if congress is able to speed funding for the project.
That's according to engineers working on Wolf Creek Dam. The project was expected to take at least seven years, but officials say if they get federal funding sooner it could be finished two years earlier in 2012.
The project is expected to cost around 309 million dollars.
