Woman Sentenced To Prison On Animal Cruelty Charges

A Paintsville woman has been sentenced to 12 months probation after pleading guilty to animal cruelty charges.

According to the Paintsville Herald, 19 year old Heather Spradlin was the tenant of a home in Johnson County that had reports of 4 dogs and a kitten on the roof along with feces inside the home.

She was arrested and charged with 5 counts of cruelty to animals.
