Services for women's health will be one of many new things added at the new Appalachian Regional Healthcare outpatient complex in South Williamson.
ARH bought the old magic mart building on US 119 in South Williamson.
it will be the home of a regional distribution center for all a-r-h facilities, a clinic, rehab services and home medical supplies.
"That way patients that are having to leave to travel outside can have all of their needs met right here," says Wes Dangerfield of Appalachian Regional Healthcare. "This also ties in well where we're also expanding our women's and children's center in our hospital."
Dangerfields says 30 new jobs are also being added.
The two and a half million dollar project will soon be finished...and open for business by this summer.
