Charges Dropped Against Eastern Kentucky Principal

New information in the case of an Eastern Kentucky principal accused of spanking a student too hard.

The Johnson County attorney tells us all charges have been dropped in the case against Central Elementary Principal Ben Hamilton. The county attorney says charges were dropped based on an appeals court decision in a similar case several years ago.

The charge stems from the corporal punishment of an 11 year old student back in November.

The paddling allegedly left a four inch red mark on the student.
