Republican Committee Chairman and Eastern Kentucky Native Mike Duncan talked about the Iraq war's effect on the upcoming 2008 presidential election.
Duncan appeared on C-Span's Newsmakers Sunday morning. He says the Republican Party is not at a disadvantage because of the war in Iraq.
"While I see the poll numbers indicate that people are frustrated with Iraq, and I believe that, I also look a little deeper into the polls and see people who believe that we can win the war, and it's part of the bigger picture," Duncan said.
Duncan also says he thinks the Republicans have strong presidential contenders for 2008.
