Officials Working On Plans To Extend Boat Ramps Along Lake Cumberland

Plans are in the works to extend several boat ramps along Lake Cumberland which are now landlocked.

Officials lowered water levels along the lake earlier this year so repairs can be made to Wolf Creek Dam. The Army Corps of Engineers will not allow work on the ramps to begin until the lake drops to 680 feet. Last week's rain pushed water levels a few feet above that.

So far, officials have approved ramp extensions for ten docks.
