State Orders County To Pay Up

The state has threatened to hold funding to one Eastern Kentucky county if it doesn't pay up.

Knox County Judge Executive J.M. Hall says state officials have ordered the county to pay over a hundred thousand dollars by the end of June. The money is for state audits of the county from 2003, 2004, and 2005. Judge Hall says the county plans on making payments to the state on time so it won't lose funding.
