Mining Company Owner Pleads Guilty To Mail Fraud

The owner of a Perry County mining company pleads guilty to federal mail fraud charges.

56 year old Harold Simpson admitted that he misrepresented the size of the payroll of the Simpson Mining Company to several insurance companies in order to reduce the amount of the workers compensation premium.

Simpson faces up to 20 years in prison.

He'll be sentenced in June.
