Coca-Cola Unveils Hillbilly Days Can

Hillbilly Days, the annual Pike County fundraiser for the Shriner's Hospital, is less than a month away and Coca-Cola has unveiled this year's commemorative Coke can.

This year Coca-Cola switched from their collector’s item bottle design to cans saying they can put more information on them. A portion of each sale will go to the Shriner's Hospital, but Coke officials hope the cans will bring more people to Hillbilly Days.

"This package is distributed to a 12 county area in Eastern Kentucky. Also shipments have been sent to the Lexington and Louisville areas to help get the message out to the state about Shriner's Hospital and what it does," said Coca-Cola District Sales Manager Kevin Rose.

The company also donated money to make Hillbilly Days t-shirts and all of those sales will go the Shriner's Hospital.
